EDINA, MN — Good Samaritan United Methodist Church announces the ongoing performances of Homeward Bound, the church's contemporary music ensemble that serves as the "house band" for the Edina congregation. Led by Brad Carlin, the group performs monthly during Sunday worship services and at various venues throughout the Twin Cities community.
Homeward Bound presents a diverse repertoire that includes both original compositions and familiar cover songs, creating an engaging worship experience that resonates with congregants of all ages. The ensemble's versatile musical style enhances the church's commitment to passionate worship while making faith accessible and inspiring.
"Music ministry at Good Samaritan starts with the congregation," said a church representative. "We believe the congregation has an active role to play in singing the church's story. Rehearsals and Performances
Homeward Bound rehearses every Thursday at 7:30 PM and performs monthly during Sunday worship services. In addition to their regular church performances, the ensemble also appears at other venues throughout the Twin Cities, bringing their unique blend of contemporary Christian music to the broader community.
