Hank Haney, Tiger's Former Coach, to Reveal Secrets to a Great Golf Swing

CHICAGO, IL / ACCESS Newswire / February 10, 2026 / Palatine native Tom "Bubbie" Broders (@bubbiegolf), a leading member of the Good Good Golf YouTube sensation, will appear this month at the 2026 Chicago Golf Show presented by the Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA) at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.

Legendary golf instructor Hank Haney, who worked with Tiger Woods during the most productive period of his career, will appear separately to discuss how average golfers can improve their games. This is Haney's second consecutive appearance at the Show.

"The Chicago Golf Show is thrilled to have ‘Bubbie' Broders with us this year and to have Hank Haney return for the second year in a row," said Tom Corcoran, head of Corcoran Expositions, which operates the show. "We think Bubbie and Hank represent two different generations of golf and that our attendees will enjoy both of their presentations. And we are thrilled that Good Good Golf will have its products available at its huge display booth."

The show is Feb. 27-March 1. "Bubbie" will appear on the weekend, Feb. 28 and March 1, while Haney is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27, and Sunday, March 1. Both will appear on the Daily Herald Main Stage. As in years past, several other presenters will be on the Main Stage, including Illinois PGA professionals, representatives of the Presidents Cup and a Golf Travel panel.

The CDGA's 16,000-square-foot Town Square will feature two side-by-side Longest Putt charity competitions, an expanded retail component and the ability to renew CDGA memberships. This year, anyone who makes the Longest Putt will receive two tickets to the Presidents Cup and two dozen of Tour Edge's newly launched golf balls (a dozen Exotics and a dozen Hot Launch).

"We continue to expand and enhance CDGA Town Square to engage our members, supporters and golfers alike," said CDGA Executive Director Robert Markionni. "We are very appreciative of all our partners who work with us to make this possible, specifically the Presidents Cup and Tour Edge. The Show has become the unofficial start to the golf season in Chicago, and we are looking forward to it beginning in a huge way."

In addition to celebrity appearances, the Show will feature the traditional elements that have made it so popular over the years: namely, great bargains on golf equipment, balls, apparel, shoes, bags, travel bags and a litany of golf accessories. Golf travel also is a major component of the Show and enables golfers to get ideas of where to play locally when the season begins and where to travel to play before the Chicago season starts.

Once again, attendees will be able to get free rounds of golf courtesy of GolfVisions, free lessons from Illinois PGA professionals and the opportunity to swing the newest clubs and get a club fitting at the Show's indoor driving range.

"There's no doubt the Chicago Golf Show is the unofficial kick-off to the Chicago golf season," said Carrie Williams, executive director of the Illinois PGA, a decades-long supporter of the show. "By late February everyone's eager to get the season going and the Illinois PGA is proud that our PGA Professionals provide free instruction to attendees of the show."

The CDGA Golf Show presented by Glenview Park Golf Club, co-hosted by Mike Gilligan and Tyler Aki, will be broadcast live from the Town Square from 9-11 a.m. Saturday followed by the Peggy & Dionne Show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Members of the Illinois Junior Golf Association (IJGA) can get in free if they're registered for 2026. Free admission is for the IJGA golfer only. The IJGA also is reprising its popular Scavenger Hunt on Saturday.

The Illinois PGA/First Tee - Greater Chicago Village will feature a larger-than-ever array of activities for young golfers, including putting and chipping along with giveaways and information about how children and parents can get involved.
